My dh has recently taken to writing on my dry erase board every night. Each day we are greeted with something interesting to make us smile. I’ve done it for years, but never like this:
I write cutesy things on this board. I write Bible verses on this board. My dh does that with the board. He’s so much better at it than I so I’ve almost quit putting anything on it just so I can see what he’s going to come up with next.
Isn’t it great? Lest you become too envious and start stalking me in an attempt to grab this fun loving guy, let me show you a sample of what I might receive on any given day through text message:
The text message read: “85 mph. Got insurance paid?” And by insurance, he was referring to his life insurance. Still want him? This was not very long at all after I ordered “Texting Kills” thumb rings from All State insurance. I gave them to everyone in our family. I talked to my friends about the dangers of texting and driving. (And let me assure you, the middle of Girls Night Out is not the time to try and sway otherwise sound Moms. It was like I was attempting to have a conversation about, I don’t know, Bible study or something 
.)
I have to admit I laughed, and tried to light heartedly reply something about not being ready to be a widow just yet.
